Broadcast Ratings Assessment Report launches today

GID news 2017 7 17The Report on Assessment of the Broadcast Ratings System in Sri Lanka compiled by the Independent Experts Committee will be launched today (17th July) at 3 p.m. at BMICH.

 



The experts committee including Prof. K.A.P. Siddhisena from University of Colombo and Prof. Ratnasiri Arangala from University of Sri Jayawardhanapura compiled this report at the invitation of the Department of Government Information.  


The report has been finalized after a broad evaluation on the Broadcast Ratings System in Sri Lanka, which began in July 2016.


Proposals were received from the broadcast managers, advertising agents, and representatives of media organizations, and Rating Companies for the report.
