Samurdhi allowance not suspended

Hon gayantha karunathilakeSamurdhi allowance of beneficiaries has not been suspended as reported by some media.

 



Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms and Co Cabinet spokesman Gayantha Karunatilleke made these comments today (16th Aug.) at the cabinet press briefing in Colombo.


The government has not taken any decision to cut the Samurdhi allowance and President Maithripala emphasized on it, said the minister.
